Senior Pastor-Rev. Melvin Waters

We are greatly blessed with our senior pastor. He was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana in a strong Christian family. He had plans to become an electrical engineer, but while in Bible college he heard and  answered God's call for his life to preach the Gospel.  He graduated with a Bachelor's of Theology in May of 1990, and  accepted his first pastorate in Yakima, Washington.  He and his wife, Connie, have been blessed with five children and five grandchildren.

He is the charter pastor of the Bentonville Wesleyan Nazarene Church.  We appreciate his care and concern for each member of his congregation. We can count on him to deliver Bible-based messages, pray with us, and help carry our burdens!

Associate Pastor-Rev. Alan Goodrich

Our associate pastor joined us in June of 2012.  Raised in a military family, from a young age he had a desire to follow his dad's footsteps and go to West Point. However, at the age of 13 he felt the call of God upon his life to become a preacher. After graduating from Wesley Academy in 2007, he stayed home a year before entering college to help in the home, church, and school while his dad, Lt. Colonel Alan Goodrich Sr. served a tour of duty in Iraq. This time had a shaping influence on Alan's future as he stepped up and took on extra responsibility. In August of 2008, Alan enrolled as a ministerial major at Penn View Bible Institute. While there he and Courtney, our pastor's daughter, started dating.  They were married during his senior year. In 2016, Alan and Courtney became a foster home and God has blessed them with three adopted daughters, and the extra ministry foster care has opened up to them.

We have been blessed to see Pastor Goodrich's ministry expand over the last seven years. He is a wonderful expository preacher of the Word. He leads our youth ministries with a burden to see them become all that God would have them to be.
